If you think going keto means giving up chocolate, think again!
We can't think of a better way to jump-start ketosis, than by eating a seriously chocolatey dessert like this single-serve mug cake.
Our chefs in the Konscious Keto kitchen were up to their eyeballs in chocolate by the time they perfected this one.
Even serving will completely satisfy your cravings and leave you ready and refreshed to tackle the rest of your menu prep. That's right, no one needs to know your sexy little secret!
But first, why should you keep eating chocolate?
Well, unlike regular chocolate you buy at the grocery store that is loaded with sugar, think of our chocolate lava cake as a health food.
Yes, you heard us right. Chocolate is good for you, especially dark chocolate, with a cocoa content of at least 80%.
Dark chocolate is one of the best sources of antioxidants and can support your health goals on a keto diet.
Eating chocolate has also been shown to reduce blood pressure, and can help alleviate stress. And, it's much cheaper than therapy.
100g of quality dark chocolate typically contains a significant source of:
- Iron
- Magnesium
- Copper
- Manganese
- Potassium
- Zinc
However, processed chocolate also contains a lot of added sugar in addition to any possible health benefits.
Instead, consider baking with Keto Activate to add a rich, chocolatey flavor without any of the added sugar. You'll get tons of clean ingredients that will enhance and support your ketogenic story.
