You will fall in love with this snack at the first bite as it pairs tasty ingredients like sweet peppers, cheese, and bacon. Actually, anything with bacon is perfect, but this recipe is next level. These tasty bites make perfect appetizers for any tailgate party!

Ingredients:

  • 4 mini sweet peppers
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Cut the mini peppers in half by length and remove seeds and membrane.
  • In a bowl, combine shredded cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, half the crumbled bacon, salt, and pepper.
  • Fill the peppers with prepared mixture.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until the peppers are soft and cheese is melty.
  • Sprinkle with remaining bacon before serving.

Tips:

  • For a spicy version, you can use jalapeno peppers.
  • Instead of cheddar cheese, you can use Pepper-jack for an added kick!
