Free Sweet Cinnamon Mug Cake Recipe
Mug Cakes can be very comforting at odd hours of the night. Especially when you’re just ending a long day, and feel that just a few bites of some yummy cake will do the trick.
I believe anyone who can’t do without sweet treats must add these recipes to their dessert repertoire.
Today, I’m going to show you how to whip up a cinnamon mug cake in about 5 minutes.
This Sweet Cinnamon Mug Cake is soft, fluffy, and moist and puffs up beautifully. Just a hint of the cream tartar enriches the sweetened batter with a slight tanginess, complimenting the warm cinnamon. It’s one of those sweetly spiced indulgences you have to have when the craving strikes.
Ingredients:
For the Cinnamon Topping:
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tsp erythritol sweetener
For the Mug Cake:
- 2/3 cup almond flour
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp erythritol sweetener
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1/8 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter/ avocado oil
- 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp water
Directions:
For the Topping:
- Whisk cinnamon and sweetener together in a small bowl and set aside
For the Mug Cake:
- In a bowl, whisk the almond flour, cinnamon, sweetener, baking powder, salt, and cream of tartar all together.
- Add egg, butter or oil, vanilla extract, and water. Stir until all ingredients are properly mixed.
- Divide the batter and pour it into each mug equally and sprinkle with the topping mixture.
- Microwave for 1 min on high heat until it puffs up.
- Remove and serve right away.
